General: Nelson comes to the DWU from Platte, S.D. Adds experience as a middle hitter and middle blocker … received four varsity letters in volleyball for her efforts.

High School: In 2014-15 she tallied 373 kills, 161 blocks, 410 digs and 29 aces served … received the 2014 and 2015 team MVP … won all-conference in 2014-15 and named to the 2015 State ‘B’ All-Tournament Team while helping her team take fifth at state … three year letter winner for the Panthers basketball team as she was awarded All-Conference in 2014 and 2015 … ran track since eighth grade, and won fifth placed in the 4x200 at Howard Wood.

Personal: Born Nov. 20, 1998 … daughter of Jason Nelson and Teresa Nelson … plans to major in athletic training and minor in sports management.
