Coach Chase returns to his alma mater which he attended from 2016-2020. While at DWU he competed on the cross country and track and field teams until an injury sidelined his running career. He helped assist as a student coach at DWU his senior year where he helped lead workouts and practices. He has spent the last two years as the cross country and track and field coach at Mitchell Christian School. During his time there he led the boys cross country team to a school program best 2^nd place finish at the State B Cross Country meet. The athletes he coached broke 7 school records, notched 70 top 10 marks in school history, and won 3 individual state championships. 

 

Coach Chase plans to bring that success to the cross country and track and field programs at Dakota Wesleyan University. Coach Chase's coaching philosophy is "to develop young men and women physically, spiritually, emotionally, and academically as the athletes seek to glorify God through academic and athletic excellence."
