
Men's Offense – Korbinian Rieder, Dakota Wesleyan University (Forward)
Korbinian Rieder is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Rieder, a freshman, from Grasbrunn, Bavaria, scored five goals on five shots in one game, a convincing 18-0 victory over Trinity Bible. In addition, he also had one assist for the Tigers.
Rieder put on a show in the Tigers matchup against the Lions (8/26/23), scoring five goals on five shots in just the first half. Rieder added an assist as well to go with his superb performance. The Tiger's put on a scoring clinic for all in attendance as they scored 18 goals on the day in just the first half. The game was called at halftime per a forfeit by Trinity Bible. The final result and ruling of the game is still being processed.
Rieder and the Tigers soccer team are scheduled to face off against South Dakota School of Mines on September 3rd at 2:30 P.M. in Rapid City S.D. The next home match will be against Martin Luther on September 6th at 7:30 P.M.
