Mitchell, S.D. – Korbinian Rieder has been named GPAC offensive player of the week for the second time in just the first three weeks of the 2023 season. Rieder earned this thanks to his two-goal performance in a 5-0 win against Martin Luther.
The Tigers won yesterday against York 2-0, and you guessed it, Rieder scored the first goal of the game and his third of the season. Rieder also earlier in the season had a five-goal performance in a forfeit game that ended up not counting for stats. The true freshman has come out blazing to start the 2023 season with his three goals (eight counting the forfeit) on 12 shots.
The Tigers next play against No. 22 Hastings College in Hastings, Neb. The match is set for September 16, at 5:30 p.m.
