THREE DWU WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS EARN ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

Mitchell, SD – The Great Plains Athletic Conference released the post season soccer honors and the DWU women's soccer teams saw three athletes earn honors. Annika Enevoldsen, Samantha Garcia, and Isabella Gregg all earned Honorable Mention.

Annika Enevoldsen, a sophomore, was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team after she scored eight goals in 11 matches this season for the Tigers. She started in nine out of eleven matches before an injury sidelined her for the remainder of the season. Enevoldsen helped the Tigers make it into the GPAC playoffs this season after being picked eleventh out thirteenth.

Samantha Garcia was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team after being a member of the Tigers tough defense. Garcia started in all 12 conference games and the post season match up against Hastings. She posted one assist this season and was a crucial member of several shutout wins.

Isabella Gregg was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team as a junior. Playing the goalkeeper position, Gregg posted a save percentage of 81.5% and had 75 saves this season. She earned back-to-back Player-of-the-Week awards during the season after she posted 17 saves in three matches, all of which were shutouts. Gregg's goalie record was 5-3-1 with three shutouts. Gregg's defense helped the Tiger's secure a spot in the postseason.
