SIX DWU WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS EARN NAIA DAKTRONICS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE HONORS

Mitchell, SD – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes on Friday.

 The 2023 list features 1,443 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.

Of the 1,443 women soccer student-athletes, six Tigers from the women's soccer team earned Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors. The list of Tigers includes Annika Enevoldsen a midfielder from Rapid City, South Dakota; Brooke Bullington a midfielder from Brookings, South Dakota; Isabella Gregg a goalkeeper from Moreno Valley, California; Isabella Veffredo a defender from Placerville California; Madison Jenny a forward from Columbus Nebraska; and Sydney Pike a midfielder from Rapid City, South Dakota.
