DWU WOMEN’S SOCCER PLAYERS NAMED TO HONORABLE MENTION

Mitchell, S.D. – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced the 2024 GPAC Soccer All-Conference Team selections this morning. The Tigers women's soccer team posted two players to the honorable mentions list. The two Tiger players are sophomore forward Hannah Petrucci and senior goalkeeper Abigail Colgrove.  

2024-2025 Season Recap 

The women's soccer team ended the 2024-25 season at Morningside coming out with a 0-2 lost against the Mustangs. Women's soccer ended the season with an overall record of 4-9-1 and a GPAC record of 3-7-1. Landing only four wins on the season, the Tigers are looking to come back stronger than ever and more determined for the 2025-2026 season. 

Honorable Mention 

The first honorable mention, the sophomore from Flagstaff, Arizona, Hannah Petrucci, started and played in 13 games for the Tigers. Petrucci put up 7 goals and 3 assists on the season. Entering her junior year, Petrucci will have started in 29 games for the Tigers while also having 11 career goals and 4 assists. 

The second honorable mention, the senior from Gretna, Nebraska, Abigail Colgrove started in 9/10 games for the Tigers. Colgrove recorded her first career shutout in the 2024-25 season. The senior goalkeeper recorded 57 saves on the season with a career total of 104 saves.
