High School: Andrew Simon was a one year starter for the Mustangs of Mounds View High School in Brooklyn Park, Minn... with a 3-0 record, he posted 21 strikeouts, and six walks through his 15.2 innings pitched... the National Honor Society member also earned academic awards in basketball, football, and baseball; while earning the Coach Choice award on the diamond... during the summer he player for the Legion team posting a 3-1 record with a 2.00 ERA... in club summer/fall ball, he went 5-3 with a pair of saves on 43 strikeouts, 17 walks and recording a 2.12 ERA.
