EIGHT TIGER BASEBALL PLAYERS NAMED DAKTRONICS NAIA SCHOLAR ATHLETES

Mitchell, S.D. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes on Thursday. The 2024 list features over 1,300 student-athletes from 165 teams who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

Dakota Wesleyan baseball team had eight players named to the list. That includes graduate student Drew Kitchens and seniors Preston Nedved and Ryan McGinnis. Junior, Graham Sanders along with sophomores Brenden Gregory, Dexter Payne, Landon Ruesink, and Nathan Meyers
