MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University cheer team will host two camps in the coming months for local kids on the DWU campus and the Xtreme Gym in Mitchell, S.D.
The Little Tiger Cheer Camp will take place on Sept. 21 at the Christen Family Athletic Center on the DWU campus. The camp is open to anyone ages 4-14 and costs $35. The cost pays for a T-shirt and admission to the DWU football game versus Northwestern College at 7 p.m.
The DWU Cheer Sideline Camp will be on Nov. 9 at Xtreme Cheer & Dance in Mitchell. It will be open to ages 10-18 and cost $45. The cost pays or a T-shirt and admission into the DWU football game versus University of Jamestown at 1 p.m.
