General: Enters his second season with the DWU football team in 2014 … made an immediate impact with the Tiger defense last season … looks to improve even more as an upperclassmen.

College: Played in all 11 games in his first season on the field with the team … recorded 43 total tackles, including 20 solo tackles … also had one tackle for a loss, one interception return for 25 yards and four pass breakups … originally signed with DWU and used a redshirt in 2011, but transferred to USD in 2012.

High School: A three-year starter and letter winner at Bon Homme High School … racked up 1,100 all-purpose yards as a senior … had more than 80 tackles in his junior season … an All-State running back and long snapper … a three-year All-Conference selection and Sioux Falls Argus Leader Elite 45 Honorable Mention pick … also lettered three times in basketball and four times in track … qualified multiple times for the Class A state track meet … also a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Feb. 8, 1993 … son of Randy and Lisa Weier … a sport, exercise and wellness major.
