- Dakota Wesleyan was down early in the game after a 27-yard field goal by Caleb Nielsen of Dakota State
- The Tigers and the Trojans each tallied 12 first downs, but DWU collected six passing and five rushing first downs
- Third down efficiency was in favor of the Tigers with 31% (5-of-16)
- Total offensive and net passing yards had DWU written all over it, the Tigers tallied 262 total yards of offense and 167 net passing yards
- Dakota Wesleyan quarterback Kiel Nelson was 17-of-37 in the game with 167 yards
- Jamin Arend led the Tigers in rushing with 22 attempts for 41 yards
- Jakob Oxos notched nine receptions for 105 yards
