HOW IT HAPPENED
- Dakota Wesleyan received the opening kickoff to begin the game.
- The Tigers first drive of the contest gained them 18 yards on six plays that lasted 2:58 minutes.
- DWU forced Midland to kick a field goal on a fourth and three situation, netting the Warriors the first points of the game.
- Dakota Wesleyan was given a second chance on their second drive of the game after a fourth and 12 punt was flagged for roughing the kicker Tate Gale.
- With four more downs to work with, Kiel Nelson finds Jamin Arend for the 58-yard receiving touchdown for the 7-3 lead.
- The Tigers quickly went behind again after a Warriors drive that took them 61-yards for the 10-7 lead.
