
Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan football dropped a close game in Sioux City this afternoon after a scoreless first quarter. The Tigers scored two touchdowns in the final quarter of the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers' second drive of the game took them 43-yards on six plays before the Chargers forced a fumble cutting their drive short.
- After the following BCU drive that span 77-yards, the Chargers were forced to kick a field goal that was missed wide right keeping the game scoreless with 1:41 left in the first.
- Dakota Wesleyan forced a fumble early in the second quarter, then recovered it at DWU's 12-yard line.
- The first score of the game was a Briar Cliff touchdown that went 41-yards in two minutes and 13 seconds as the Tigers fell behind 7-0 going into halftime
- DWU allowed back-to-back scored in the third quarter on a touchdown and field goal attempt from 36-yards.
