
MITCHELL, S.D. – Koby Kayser ran for 4 touchdowns as the Dakota Wesleyan football team dominated Briar Cliff 35-7 on Senior Day at Joe Quintal Field Saturday afternoon in GPAC play.
The Tigers scored on 4 of their 5 first half possessions to take control of the game with a commanding 28-0 halftime lead as they outgained the Chargers 298-95 in total yardage in the half, while Kayser rushed for 70 yards and 3 touchdowns in the first two quarters and QB Carter Robingson added the other DWU score with a 22-yard run.
Briar Cliff QB Luke Davies found Cory Carignan on a 23-yard TD pass in the third quarter for their only scoring drive of the game, while the Tigers' defense came up with a big stop late in the third quarter with the Chargers at the Dakota Wesleyan 6 yard line.
Koby Kayser completed his huge afternoon with a 69-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to cap off the scoring as Dakota Wesleyan sealed the 35-7 win on Senior Day.
Kayser led the Tigers with 146 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns, while Carter Robinson had 221 all-purpose yards and 1 rushing touchdown.

Dakota Wesleyan improved to 4-6 on the season and will be at Morningside next Saturday to close out their regular season.
