Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan men's basketball took an early lead; and never looked back as the Tigers notched a 40-point win over the Blue Hawks. Koln Oppold notched his second double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, as four other players tallied double-digit scoring.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coach Wilber and Company controlled the first half, shooting 66.7% from the floor, 71.4% beyond the arc, and perfect at the free-throw line.
- The Tigers held the Blue Hawks to shooting only 22.9% from the field, 10% from distance, and 25% at the foul line.
- After five and a half minutes, DWU was already leading by a score of 21-4.
- Dickinson State did not reach double-digit scoring until eight minutes left in the first half, as the Tigers still controlled the lead 37-11.
- At the buzzer for half-time, Jeffrey Schuch hit the second chance layup in time, for the 54-18 lead after 20-minutes of action.
- In the second half, the Blue Hawks shot better than the Tigers, but their 36-point lead continued to grow.
- Dakota Wesleyan went on a 12-6 run lasting over eight minutes of game time.
- DSU notched their final points of the game with 14-seconds remaining for the final score of; 96-59.
