Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University men's basketball flew past Doane at home, staying perfect in the Corn Palace. Seven players score for the Tigers, while four players notch double-digit points again.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• DWU jumped ahead with a quick 28-12 lead after a 17-2 run lasting over six minutes.
• The Tigers extended their lead to 15 just minutes after a jumper from Jeffrey Schuch.
• Mason Larson hit a shot from deep, giving DWU a 35-20 lead with four and a half minutes to play in the first half.
• With under a minute to play in the opening half, Koln Oppold hit the final shot as the Tigers went to the locker rooms with a 39-20 lead after 20-minutes of play.
• Dakota Wesleyan shot 57.1% from the floor in the first half and 46.7% beyond the arc after 20 minutes of game time.
• DWU had yet to step to the foul line in the game after the first half.
• Starting the second half, Dakota Wesleyan picked up where they left off in the first half.
• The Tigers opened the second half extending their lead to 48-26 with 15-minutes left to play.
• With 9:35 left in the game, Dakota Wesleyan hit their largest lead of the game, up 32 points on Doane.
• The Doane Tigers were never able to grab a lead in the game as the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers remain perfect at home with the 81-56 win.
• In the game, DWU outshot Doane 58.5% to 34.7% from the floor as the DWU Tigers shot nearly twice as better beyond the arc, making 46.4% of their shots.
• Dakota Wesleyan forced 13 Doane turnovers and scored 18-points off those turnovers.
