HOW IT HAPPENED
- DWU jumped ahead to a quick 10-0 lead after two jump shots and a pair of three-pointers just two and a half minutes into the game.
- After the quick lead by the Tigers forcing a BCU timeout, the Chargers netted their first points of the game as DWU continued to lead 10-2.
- Teegan Evers earned DWU their largest lead of the game after knocking down a jumper for the 13-2 lead after five minutes of play.
- Briar Cliff compiled a 10-0 run after Evers knocked down the jump shot: bringing the Chargers within one point of tying the game at 13-12.
- BCU continued to add to their run with three more points and the 15-13 lead over the Tigers before Sawyer Schultz tied the game for DWU at 15-15.
- With only six minutes remaining in the first half and Dakota Wesleyan up 25-23, Briar Cliff tied the game once again at 25 all.
- BCU collected on a shot from deep with one-minute remaining to lead DWU 37-33 going into halftime.
