How It Happened
- In the first five minutes, the Tigers and Raiders had five lead changes and one tie as DWU was on top 15-12.
- Ace Zorr extended the DWU lead to 17-12 on a layup before the Raiders hit a three-pointer on the opposite end, cutting the lead to 17-15.
- After two minutes of scoreless basketball, Northwestern tied things up 17-17 on a pair of free throws.
- Koln Oppold gave DWU the lead again at 22-19 after hitting a shot from deep with 11:50 left in the first half.
- Tigers broke away after Zorr collected on a tough layup for the 31-23.
- Dakota Wesleyan's largest lead of the game came with 6:45 left in the first half after Nick Wittler made a layup for the 12-point lead, 37-25.
- The Tigers went cold for three minutes, allowing the Raiders to put together an 8-0 run that closed the DWU lead to six points with three minutes left.
