
Yankton, S.D. - The Dakota Wesleyan Tigers showcased their skills at the Mount Marty Invitational, held at the scenic Mount Marty Golf Course. Battling a competitive field that included several GPAC teams such as host Mount Marty, Morningside, Doane, Concordia (NE), Dordt, and Briar Cliff, the Tigers finished in 7th place with a combined total score of +27.
Leading the Tigers was Peyton Bettcher, who tied for 13th place with a score of +3. Dakota Munger followed closely, tying for 18th place with a score of +4. Connor Calahan rounded out the team's top three finishers with a score of +9, while Jackson Childs added a score of +11 tying for 45th. Drew Norberg completed the lineup with a score of +18.
The Tigers' performance was noteworthy as they outpaced several competitors, including the host Mount Marty, Dordt, and Briar Cliff. The team's effort reflects strong potential and resilience against a tough field.
