Sioux City, Iowa – The Tigers men's golf team concluded their participation in the Mustang Derby Invite with a tenth-place finish, accumulating a total score of +620. The team recorded scores of +312 on the first day and improved slightly with a +308 on the second day.
Individual Highlights:
- Connor Calahan: led the Tigers with an impressive performance, finishing tied for 4th place with a total score of 147.
- Peyton Bettcher and Jakson Childs both tied for 39th place, with Bettcher carding scores of 75 and 82 for a two-day total of 157, while Childs finished with scores of 79 and 78.
- Drew Norberg finished tied for 57th overall, posting scores of 84 and 80 for a combined total of 164.
- Dakota Munger rounded out the Tigers' scoring in 59th place, improving on day two with a score of 77 after an opening round of 88, totaling 165.
Tigers Look Ahead:
The Tigers will next compete in the Whistling Straits Classic, hosted by Taylor University at Whistling Straits Golf Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, on October 14 and 15. The team will aim to build on their experiences from the Mustang Derby Invite as they continue their season.
