MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's soccer team led 1-0 heading into the second half of a Great Plains Athletic Conference match against Dordt College, but couldn't hang on, falling 5-1 on Wednesday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell, S.D.

Senior Peter Wartenberg (Chaska, Minn.) scored the lone goal for the Tigers in the 24th minute, but a late charge by the Defenders left the Tigers looking for answers. Daniel Clas (Buenos Aires, Argentina) tallied a shot on goal in the loss.

The Tigers (2-13, 1-7 GPAC) host Concordia University for a GPAC battle for Senior Day at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell, S.D.
