The Tigers (2-2, 1-1 GPAC) responded with a pair of their own shots from Tyler Anderson (Monticello, Minn.) and Joel Sanchez (Salinas, Calif.), however, both attempts were saved.

At the intermission, Dordt held a slight margin over Dakota Wesleyan in shots 11-8 and corner kicks 2-1. The Blue and Gray were led by Anderson and Nicolas Morillo (Barranquilla, Columbia) who both tallied two shots in the first period, while Matthew Campbell (Duluth, Minn.) notched five saves to keep the match scoreless.

The Tigers picked things up offensively in the second period as freshman forward Carson Fox (Watertown, S.D.) found the back of the net in the 58th minute. The score broke the tie giving Fox his first goal of the season.

Later in the period, DWU added an insurance goal off the foot of Ndrin Maloku (Prishtine, Albania) to extend the lead to 2-0. The Blue and Gray tallied two more saves defensively to close out the road victory. The Tiger offense was paced by Maloku and Fox who combined for a total of six shots.
