How it Happened

Dakota Wesleyan opens the match hungry as Ignacio Iglesias captures the offensive momentum to give a quick 1-0 lead by the 8th minute. Despite the two saves for starting goalkeeper Hunter Birozy the Bulldogs neutralizes the score at 1-1 to end the first period. 

Concordia strikes early in the second period with a goal in the 50th minute to gain a 2-1 lead. Birozy looks to record six saves within the second period, however, the Bulldogs furthers its lead 6-1 to secure the home victory. 

DWU midfielder Ignacio Iglesias and Cesar Requena both combine for three shots, while Birozy tallies in eight total saves in the matchup.
