
Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan men's soccer placed two student-athletes on the Great Plains All-Conference this morning in Junior goalkeeper, Hunter Birozy and Graduate student-athlete, Isaias Pio.
Birozy played 855 total minutes this season with a 66.7 save percentage during his time between the posts. He recorded 70 saves and 35 goals against while helping the Tigers to one shutout win. Birozy's best game was against Doane back on October 8 when he posted 12 saves.
Pio started in 16 matches for the Tigers in his final season, recording four goals and one assists. He also sent 17 shots with nine of those being on goal. Pio recorded a season high three shots twice against Mount Marty and Northwestern, while his season high shots on goal of two was against the Lancers and Viterbo.
