Coaches Quotes:

Roger Malonda on distance:

We had good performances across the board from the distance group despite the windy conditions. Leaving USD with a school record, four personal bests and feeling like there is more in the tank. The rest of the season looks very promising.

Matt Rosado on the meet:

With the first weekend of nice weather, it was nice to shed the coats and jackets and finally spread our wings. The distance crew ran well again as they continue to improve and prepare for some big races. The sprints and jumps squad saw some personal best and debuts that look to show for more promising performances in the aiming weeks. The throws saw strong performances from freshman Samantha Kludt as she PR'd in every event she competed in. We look forward to what's ahead as we start to prepare for conference.
