Spearfish S.D. –
The Dakota Wesleyan men and women's track teams braved the wintery conditions and traveled to Black Hills State University to compete in the Myrle Hanson Open for their first meet of 2024. Multiple Tigers placed in the Top 5 on both sides and saw several new personal bests on the day. Head Coach Matt Rosado's Thoughts
"Despite the bad weather back home, we got the chance to compete this weekend. As far as season openers go, I am very happy about the things that went on today. The sprinters, jumpers, and throwers finally got to knock some rust off, and the distance crew had a chance to get in quality reps. We left today with a lot of personal bests and a good start to the season."
Up Next for the Tigers –
The Tigers will be heading to Northwestern Missouri State University next weekend for another meet on January 20th in Maryville, Missouri.
