Mitchell, S.D. –
The DWU track and field team saw a stack of new personal bests, school records broken, and some new facility records. Abby Magnuson and Hunter Shanks brought out their best to claim titles and break records. Magnuson won the women's shot put as she rebroke the shot-put record for the third time this season as well as rewrite the record for the facility! Shanks grabbed the win in the 800m, broke the facility record, and was just shy of his personal best. Adaya Plastow added a pair of new personal bests in the 60m hurdles and in the 200m. Head Coach Matt Rosado's Thought's –
"It's always nice to be home in front of Tiger nation, the atmosphere was great, and the energy was flowing. We came away with two more school records and added facility records in those events. We are a few weeks away from piecing it all together, but still super proud of the total team effort. Days like today put the Tiger pride at an all time high!"
