Tigers Shine at Concordia Classic with Multiple Season Bests

The Dakota Wesleyan Tigers traveled to Seward, Nebraska to take part in the Concordia Classic Saturday. A few Tigers found season best and personal records (PR) in the meet. Mikey Hart, Trevor Sladky, Sean DeBlieck, Zachary Robinson, Gage Hohn, and Christian Hanna.

Sprints-

Barrett Nielsen (Sr.) ran the 60m hurdles, running a 9.12.
Mikey Hart (Jr.) keeps on deliviering strong performances as he ran a 7.08 in the 60m. Moving him up the top-ten list to #3 overall. Hart qualified for finals in the 60m too.
Sean DeBlieck (Fr.) ran in the 60 meter, moving the needle in his times by running a 7.31. Season best.
Trevor Sladky (Fr.) competed in the 60 meter, running a 7.5.
Gage Hohn (Fr.) ran in his first collegiate 400m race with a time of 55.

Distance-

Gage Dietterle (So.) competed in the 1000m. Running a 2:55.
Zachary Robinson (Fr.) ran in the 3000m and ran a 10:49. Finding consistency in his splits.
Ian Chrisler (Fr.) ran the 800m and ended with a 2:10.

Jumps-

Sean DeBlieck (Fr.) jumped in the long jump with a 5.63m.
Trevor Sladky (Fr.) hit a season best, jumping a 6.25m to end his day.
Gage Hohn (Fr.) took part in the high jump. Clearing 1.73m.
Carter Harris (Fr.) vaulted, finding his stride as he returns to the vault with a 4.10m jump.

Throws-

Christian Hanna (Sr.) saw improvement in the ring as he threw a PR of 11.41m on Saturday. His 2nd collegiate meet.
Ethan Watson (Fr.) the freshman threw in shot put and the weight throw. For shot he placed 5th in the unseeded section, throwing a 15.43. In weights he threw a 13.46m throw.
Gage Hohn (Fr.) also took part in the shot and threw a 9.06m throw. That is a PR for the freshman.

The Tigers return next week on Saturday, February 1st as they host the Alumni Open. Welcoming their alums back to DWU.
