
Sioux City, Iowa – Dakota Wesleyan men's wrestling was tested tonight in their second dual in as many days. The Tigers 11-points came from two major decision wins and an extra period win.
How It Happened
The Tigers battled hard against the Mustangs all night, but it wasn't until the 174 class when they picked up their first team points of the night. Lane Miller got DWU on the board after a 10-1 major decision win giving the Tigers four team points. Colten Hink added four more team points posting a 12-2 major decision win of his own in the 197 class. Trevion Sample needed an extra period to secure his win in the 285 class, getting it done 4-3 to add three team points to the board. Will Farren dropped his 125 match by tech fall 18-3. Temuujin Natsagdorj (Tempka) dropped his match by fall after 5:23 in the 133 class. Zach Zitek fell by a 6-3 decision at 141. Aric Williams also dropped his match at 149 by a 2-1 decision. Tyson Johnson and Kaleb Bigelow also dropped both their matches by 6-3 decision.
