MITCHELL, S.D. – Justin Sorensen is the latest recruit to sign with the Dakota Wesleyan University men's cross-country team, it was announced by the head cross-country coach Jamen Helton Friday.
Sorensen is a five-time South Dakota State Cross-Country qualifier and a multiple time state qualifier in track and field. He completed the 2018 state cross-country meet with a 12th-place finish.
The Vermillion, S.D., native posted the fourth-fastest time this past season in the state from the 2019 class in cross-country.
"Justin will make an immediate impact on our men's team this coming year and will really help take our program to new heights over the next few years," Helton commented. "We are extremely excited to have Justin on board and are looking forward to seeing his continued success as a Tiger."
