TIGER SOFTBALL DROPS A PAIR ON THE ROAD AT MOUNT MARTY

Yankton, S.D –

DWU softball dropped both games this afternoon in Yankton, S.D. to the Lancers. Game one came down to the final inning. With the score tied at 1-1 after the first two innings, Mount Marty scored three runs in the third to take the lead back. Deanna Davidson would get the scoring started in the fourth for the Tigers with a sacrifice fly to center field. Peyton Bagley would cross home and give Davidson the RBI. Kaylie Mathiasen stepped up to bat next and singled to right field to bring Jaden Warner in. The third run in the inning came from a Reagan Grossi double before a line out to first ended the half frame.
