KRCIL QUALITY START IN GAME ONE, TIGERS BLANKED IN BOTH GAMES AGAINST NO. 13 WARRIORS
Fremont, Neb. – The Tigers dropped a pair of games against the No. 13 ranked Midland Warriors on the road. DWU was shutout in both games against the tough Warriors, two starters who both have below a 1.60 era. Keirstyn Krcil defiantly did her job in game one though only allowing one run that was unearned in the six innings of work, but ultimately was all Midland needed in their 1-0 victory. Dakota Wesleyan recorded just two hits, three baserunners in the game with Alyssa Burke and Jaden Warner collecting the hits and McKinnely Mull drawing a first inning walk. In the circle Krcil allowed just four hits and one walk.

Game two was a different story as the Warriors earned the 8-0 mercy rule win in five innings. Again, the Tigers struggled offensively with just two hits in the five innings of play. It was Warner again with one of the hits and Monique Gomez with the other. Ivy Woolwine got the start and took the loss for DWU going 4.1 innings giving up 10 hits and all eight runs earned.

Up Next: The Dakota Wesleyan softball team is back in action tomorrow for another game in Nebraska, this time against the Concordia Bulldogs in Seward, Nebraska with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
