Dakota Wesleyan softball hosted the University of Jamestown Jimmies in their last conference home game of the season, with one more non-conference home game remaining on the schedule, this evening. Jamestown took game one after putting up six runs in the fourth inning to win 9-3. The Jimmies won game two in similar fashion with two big innings with four runs scored in the third and fourth to win 12-4. DWU recognized some active record holders in juniors Peyton Bagley, McKinnely Mull, and senior Alyssa Burke. Bagley currently holds the record for triples in a season with seven last year. Mull set the record last year for most home runs in a season with 12. Burke capped off the recognition with several records under her name. Burke holds records for stolen bases in a season with 31 last season, stolen base percentage of .939 last season, and the all time career runs scored record with 115 and counting.
Game one DWU put the first run on the board with a Reagan Grossi RBI to take the first lead. Jamestown tied it up in the top of the second but Macy Moore would earn herself an RBI after she batted Burke in for the second DWU run. Jamestown took over in the fourth with six runs scored and then one run in both the fifth and sixth. DWU's last score would be in the sixth but would not be able to mount a comeback of any kind.
Game two saw Jamestown score the first run. Bagley was the lead off hitter for DWU and showed why with her solo shot out of right to make the score even. DWU would score another run in the inning with Deanna Davidson scoring the run. The Jimmies found their groove in the third and fourth, as they put up four runs with one Tiger run in the bottom of the third to taking a commanding 8-3 lead. Jordyn Blogg put the last Tiger run on the board after Monique Gomez single to left. Jamestown won game two 12-4.

DWU will host one final home game against non-conference foe Dakota State University. The first pitch is set to be thrown at 3:00 p.m. of the double header.
