Mitchell, S.D.- The Great Plains Athletic Conference released their 2025 softball preseason coaches poll this morning. Northwestern College has taken the No.1 spot with 120 points follwed by Midland and Dordt with 110 and 94. Dakota Wesleyan took the No. 9 spot with 45 votes.
Tiger's head coach Tommy Downs shared some thoughts on the ranking, ""DWU Softball is excited to welcome the challenges of competing in the fierce GPAC conference. While rankings aren't our primary focus, we're determined to make an impact and leave our mark this season."
The Tigers will start their season off at York, Neb. on January 31st.
