Tucson, Ariz. - Dakota Wesleyan softball fell to St. Francis (IL) in their single-game matchup.

Despite a late push, Dakota Wesleyan came up short against St. Francis (IL), falling 7-2 on Saturday in Tucson. The Tigers fought hard, showcasing resilience with a two-run rally in the sixth, but couldn't overcome an early deficit.

Jaycee Tebay and Avery Perkins provided the offensive spark, each driving in a run, while Tebay also recorded a triple. McKinnely Mull contributed with a stolen base. Defensively, the Tigers were solid, turning key plays to keep the game within reach.

On the mound, Alison Ernsberger battled through six innings, striking out two, while Keirstyn Krcil delivered a strong relief appearance, allowing just two hits and no earned runs in the final frame.

Despite the setback, Dakota Wesleyan continues to build on its strong start to the season.
