Bio

Travis Walz enters his first season as the assistant softball coach. Walz also serves as the Director of Informaiton Technology for the DWU campus. Waltz started and coached in the Venom organization. Coached 15 seasons of competitive fastpitch with the local Venom fastpitch teams. Also coached one season with Mitchell Kernel high school fall ball program, before starting his own high school program out of Mount Vernon, South Dakota, coaching that teams for two years. During the 18 seasons Waltz coached two state championship teams, one Championship team in the Middle School championships, one title as 18U with the Venom program. Coached Venom teams to several other tournament championships as well.
