Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan women's basketball picked up their 19th win of the season behind a 87-58 win over College of Saint Mary at home. It was senior day at the Palace as DWU recognized their three seniors in Isabel Ihnen, who is out for the season with an ACL injury, Mya Wilson, and Anna Campbell. Wilson started and played 26 minutes recording two points, three assists, and one steal. Campbell in 24 minutes off the bench had seven points, three rebounds, and a block. Emma Yost led the way for the Tigers offensively with 21 points, which is her sixth game with 20+ points on the season. Morgan Edelman recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds in 24 minutes of play. Rylee Rosenquist provided solid minutes off the bench with 12 points and seven rebounds.

The Tigers dominated the first half 48-23, but more specifically the second quarter when they outscored the Flames 30-10. DWU forced 21 turnovers in the contest which they turned into 22 points. Dakota Wesleyan being one of the top offensive rebounding teams in the country, stayed true to that with their staggering 23 offensive rebounds in the game which they turned into 28 second chance points compared to CSM four second chance points on their four rebounds. DWU won the rebounding battle by a wide 50-27 margin and assisted on 20 of their 25 made field goal attempts. The Tigers were efficient at the charity stripe in their 16 attempts, knocking down 13 of them. Dakota Wesleyan was active and moving the ball in transition as well with a season-high 14 fast break points. The struggles from beyond the arc went both ways as DWU shot just 4-15 (26.7%) and CSM went 3-17 (17.6%). As usual, the Tigers got most of their offense in the paint, recording 48 points compared to the Flames 34.
