
Mitchell, S.D. -- The GPAC women's basketball preseason polls have officially been released, and the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers have secured an impressive 3rd place ranking in the conference with 100 points. This marks a promising start for the team, especially considering their successful performance last season, where they finished with a 14-8 conference record and made a playoff run to the NAIA Round of 16.
Only Concordia and Dordt received more votes than the Tigers, highlighting the competitive nature of the GPAC. Notably, Dakota Wesleyan also garnered 1 first-place vote, sharing the respect and recognition they have earned within their highly regarded conference.
Coach Jason Christensen is optimistic about the upcoming season, stating, "The GPAC will be one of the top conferences in the nation once again. We hope to be competitive by the end of the year." His statement reflects the hard work and dedication that the team has put in during the offseason.
