Mitchell, S.D. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Thursday evening the teams and bracket for the 2025 NAIA Women's Basketball Championship First Round presented by Ballogy. The 64-team bracket will begin with the first and second rounds at host sites nationwide starting March 14th. Following their Great Plains Athletic Conference Tournament Semi-Final berth, Dakota Wesleyan was selected as a #5-seed in the Naismith-Quadrant. They will play at the host site of Langston University in Langston, Okla.
This tournament will mark the Tigers' 12th championship appearance. In the Naismith Bracket, the Tigers' four potential opponents include the 4th seed and host, Langston (Okla.) (29-2), the 13th-seed Blue Mountain Christian (Miss) (19-11), and the 12th-seeded The Master's (Calif.) (19-8).
In the Tournament's first round, the Tigers' will meet with the Mustangs of The Masters (Calif.). The contest between the two will be the site-opener.
