Tiger women fall to No. 21 Hastings on the road

HASTINGS, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team was topped by perennial Great Plains Athletic Conference power Hastings College 5-0 Saturday in Hastings, Neb.

The Tigers did not register a shot or corner kick in the loss and drop to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the GPAC.

Hastings got three goals from Taylor Geis, while Megan Kruse added two goals and an assist for the Broncos. DWU was outshot 25-0. Tiger junior goalkeeper Kira Miller (Preston, Idaho) posted her third 10-plus save performance of the season with 11 against Hastings.

The Tigers continue GPAC action against Morningside College at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell, S.D.
