MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team competed in its first Great Plains Athletic Conference match up of the season, dropping a 4-0 decision to College of Saint Mary Saturday in Omaha, Neb.
College of Saint Mary found the net in the first half, scoring three goals, while adding another in the second half.
Jocelyn Behm (Sioux Falls, S.D.) recorded four shots on goal for the Tigers, while Gemini Wesley (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Jillian Asmann (Castle Rock, Color.) added a shot on goal in the loss. Senior Kira Miller (Rock Springs, Wyo.) added five saves for DWU.
The Flames outshot the Tigers 14-9.
DWU (0-8, 0-1 GPAC) visits Northwestern College for a GPAC contest at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in Orange City, Iowa.
