Chargers outlast Tigers in double overtime

MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team gave it all they had in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match up against Briar Cliff University, dropping a 1-0 decision on Wednesday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell, S.D.

  Briar Cliff scored their lone goal of the game in the 102nd minute as the Tigers drop to 0-12-1 on the year. Gemini Wesley (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and Alyssa Weidler (Sioux Falls, S.D.) recorded two shots on goal, while freshman Jocelyn Behm (Sioux Falls, S.D.) tallied a shot on goal in the loss. The Chargers outshot the Tigers 21-6.

 Senior Kira Miller (Rock Springs, Wyo.) added 15 saves for the Tigers.

 DWU visits instate foe Mount Marty College at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Yankton, S.D.
