MITCHELL, S.D. –Two second half goals from Bethany College pushed them to victory over the Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team, 2-0 on Saturday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.
Neither team could find the back of the net in the first half as the score was knotted at zero heading into halftime.
The Swedes (3-0-1) scored in the 64th minute and 79th minute to push past DWU.
Tigers (1-2) outshot the Swedes 7-6 in the contest. Alyssa Weidler (Sioux Falls, S.D) and Marina Brightman (Earlham, Iowa.) managed two shots for the Tigers.
DWU will hit the road to take on York College at 1 p.m. on Saturday in York, Neb.
