SALINA, Kan. – In their second game in three days, the Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team fell to Kansas Wesleyan University 2-0 on Tuesday in Salina, Kan.
The Coyotes (8-3) jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after a goal just eight minutes into the contest. Despite allowing the early goal, the Tigers (9-7) fended off multiple shots throughout the remainder of the half, trailing just 1-0 at halftime.
KWU sent a flurry of shots towards the DWU goal in the opening minutes of the second half. However, Hannah Bowes (Omaha, Neb.) and the Tiger defense held strong to not allow another goal.
