The match between the Tigers and Bruins was played at Papillion Landing in Bellevue, Neb. Dakota Wesleyan would fall 5-0 to the Bruins in the match.

The Bruins struck first with an early goal in the 11th minute. They would continue their barrage of shots in the following minutes with Isabella Gregg recording her second and third save of the match in the 15th and 22nd minute. Dakota Wesleyan newly appointed head coach, Nicolas Reinhard would make a handful of substitutions in the 18th-22nd minutes to try and change the momentum.

Bellevue however would stay on the attack with four more shots on goal, cashing in on their fourth attempt to extend their lead to 2-0 over the Tigers in the 32nd minute. DWU would record their first shot of the game in the 38th minute by freshman defender, Genesis Mendez that would go wide right.
