MITCHELL, S.D – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team falls to the defending GPAC champions of Briar Cliff 3-0 Wednesday evening at home. Despite the scoresheet, the Tigers played strong defense for a vast majority of the game.

How it Happened
Briar Cliff seeks to begin the offensive momentum to open the match, until goalkeeper Isabella Gregg protects the net with a save in the first two-minutes of the match. Seconds later, Dakota Wesleyan's defensive unit responds with a huge team save keeping the BCU with a 1-0 advantage up till the halftime whistle.
The Chargers carried the offensive momentum into the second period with a pair of goals keeping the Tiger defense on high alert. Briar Cliff ultimately secures the 3-0 victory after a total of 25 shots in the matchup. Sophomore goalkeeper Isabella Gregg did all she could between the posts registering 10 total saves in the match.
