Omaha, N.E. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women' soccer team struggles to find their offensive groove with a 6-0 loss versus conference opponent College of Saint Mary in GPAC play.

How it Happened

The Flames attack early offensively in the match, scoring the first goal by the 3rd minute for the quick 1-0 lead. Minutes later, Nathalie Ramos looks to stop the momentum with a shot on goal but was ultimately saved. In attempt to get the Tigers on the scoreboard, Delaney Horan receives a look on goal, though misses just high as Saint Mary leads 3-0 at break.

The Tigers begins the second period with an early offensive strike in the 51st minute from Esmeralda Guzman, which was unfortunately saved by the goalkeeper. Despite the defensive saves from Dakota Wesleyan, Saint Mary clings in three extra goals to ultimately extend the score to 6-0. 

Tiger sophomore goalkeeper Isabella Gregg finishes with seven saves while junior goalkeeper Taylor Stermon finishes with one save to protect the net defensively.
