HAYES TAKES FIRST IN TRIPLE JUMP AT SIOUX CITY RELAYS, SAYLER MOVES TO NUMBER THREE IN THE 5000M IN DWU RECORDS

Sioux City, Iowa –

Taliyah Hayes set a new personal best on her way to taking first place in women's triple jump at the Sioux City Relays this afternoon. Hayes set her previous best last week at the USD Early Bird meet. Several Tigers on the men's team also set new personal bests with Jared Harris setting two new PR's in the 200m and 400m races. Caleb Sayler went to Platteville, Wis. this evening to run in the Platteville Invitational, a large meet with a competitive 5000m race, hoping to hit a national qualifying standard. Sayler was just a few seconds shy but beat his previous best time by almost twenty seconds and claimed the No. three spot in DWU history.
