DWU volleyball season ends with loss to Mount Marty
YANKTON, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team fell to Great Plains Athletic Conference rival Mount Marty College in four sets to end the 2015 season Tuesday in Yankton, S.D.

After dropping the first set, the teams traded the next two to put the Lancers one set from the win. The home team took the final set in a close battle to even the season series at a win each. The line score 25-21, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22.

After breaking out as one of the top outside hitters in the conference in 2015, junior Lauren Tadlock (Rapid City, S.D.) posted another strong performance against the Lancers. She finished with 21 kills to go along with eight digs. Tadlock had a career-best 436 kills for the Tigers this season, nearly 100 more than a year ago.

Junior Dana Misiaszek (Mitchell, S.D.) added 10 kills and 18 digs for a double-double, while junior Taylor Spence (North Branch, Minn.) posted six kills and 18 digs.

In her final game as a Tiger, senior Maggie Stehly (Sioux Falls, S.D.) record 22 digs. She finishes her career fourth on the program's all-time digs list with 1,666. Redshirt junior Sammy Fluck (Becker, Minn.) also concluded her career Tuesday, finishing with eight kills against the Lancers.

DWU closes the season with a record of 11-20 overall and 2-14 in the GPAC.
